When finished, she stands a graceful 16 inches tall, with a majestic 11.5-inch wingspan that lets her soar through your dreams. This little mischief-maker took about a week of nonstop magical stitching (think 8+ hours of hook waving like a wand, energy slinging sessions every day), but oh, is she ever worth the wonder! Those tiny seed beads twinkling on her wings? They glow in the dark—perfect for midnight adventures and secret glowy surprises.
Her delicate jewelry is conjured just for her (no taking it off for this fairy—she's always dressed to dazzle!), though future fairy friends might come with swappable sparkles so you can mix and match like true pixie playmates. While other fairies can come with or without jewelry, no two fairies will ever be identical, and neither will their jewelry. My fairy jewelry making kit consists of bits and pieces I've picked up in my travels and upcycled into magical moments and creations like this.
The doll in the pictures here is made mostly of yarns that are rare, discontinued treasures, from my stash... that is running low... making this one an extra-special, one-of-a-kind enchantress you'll never find duplicated! But fear not! No matter how your Lunaria Fairy doll comes out, it will be just as unique and made to your specifications.
And here's a fluttery bonus: Her wings snap on and off with clever little snaps! That means they're totally interchangeable with the other fairy dolls in the collection (4 are yet to come). There are 5 whimsical fairies total in the full fairy family—mix, match, and let the magic multiply!
