Level: Intermediate
Size: Finished bear measures about 10.5 inches tall and about 9 inches wide
Materials:
4.0 mm and 3.0 mm hook
Red Heart worsted (size 4) yarn
Frosty green (main body color) ~700-800 yards
White (inner ear, belly patch) ~200 yards
Med thyme (heart nose, belly insignia, eye color) scrap yarn
Black (pupil color) scrap yarn
Red(optional) scrap yarn
Needle for sewing yarn
Needle for sewing thread
mason jar w/ lid
12 mm Safety Eyes (optional) (Eye pattern included)
stitch marker or scrap piece of yarn
Small eye hooks or buttons to attach head to body enough that head won't roll away. This is not required but does add some stability to the finished piece.
Written in standard US terms
Stitches used in this pattern:
mc = magic circle
sc = single crochet
[ ] = repeat what's in brackets
sl = slip stitch
dec = decrease x amount of times or to rows
inc = increase
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain
BLO = Back Loop Only
FLO = Front Loop Only
Y/O = Yarn Over
f/o = fasten off end, as per instructions
