Turning AI Images Into Creations You Can Hold

Welcome to my AI-Inspired Creations collection — a showcase of tangible, touchable pieces that all began as AI-generated images.

To be crystal clear: every crochet pattern here is 100% human-crafted. I write each one by hand first, then carefully type, edit, and format it into the polished pattern you receive. No AI is ever used to generate, write, or assist with the patterns themselves. The AI image serves only as initial inspiration — a spark of visual magic that I then reimagine, design, and bring to life entirely through my own hands, hooks, and creativity.

Each creation in this section comes with its own little backstory: how the AI image caught my eye, the choices I made to transform it into something real and wearable (or huggable!), and the personal touches that make it uniquely mine.

Browse below to discover the finished pieces, read their stories, and find links to purchase the pattern — or commission a custom version made just for you.

For those of you that buy my patterns:
I will add a section to share pictures of your creations here as well! With your ok of course.

Willa The Bat

Willa the bat started as the first image in the line up. I was asked if I could "reverse engineer"  the AI image and turn it into a physical item.  She was looking for a gift for her daughter, and my skills seemed perfect for the job. Amused by the idea, and always loving the idea of a challenge, I said I would give it a  try.

As it turns out, I was able to! The collection of bats that you see here are the collection that I have conjured so far.   They flew away almost as fast as I could make them!

There were a few changes that had to be made  to the wings, and ways that the wings connect at the center points. But as you see, it's pretty close to the original image.

Just to be clear here, no creation will ever come out exactly like the AI image. Part of the reason for this is that the AI being used to make the images make up stitches that, to the untrained eye, might look totally normal.

My friend loved her bat so much we named it after her daughter,  who would be the recipient of  the cute little flappy friend.

I decided to try my luck, and took one to the next local Farmer's market with me.  Kids love them! Adults love them! Their cuteness turns extra when you fold their little wings around them in that adorable little hug thyself pose. I ended up bringing a new one weekly with people asking where they could get their very own Willa!

There are links for those interested in a custom Willa the Bat to call their own, or for the crochet pattern for those who wish to conjure up their own.

Nox – The Defiant Little Raven

This is Nox. He's here to prove that AI images can indeed be transformed into tangible, huggable creations.

Nox began as an AI-generated photo. Some said this mischievous little bird could never be crocheted—claiming the stitches for those distinctive feet and overall shape would be "impossible." While those exact stitches might not translate directly, Nox proudly shows that it's very possible to bring these imaginative visions to life in fresh, handmade ways. In that  impossible stitch space I saw room to personalize and  overcome the challenges that might prevent little Nox from being.

Nox was actually pretty easy for me to conjure up. This one only took part of a day to write out the pattern while summoning the bird. Yes, I hand write my patterns before they ever even hit the computer. The stitches were basic, and the size made it go pretty quickly too. And as you can see I've already come up with a couple different ways to make this little bird a reality.

I have not gotten to test this cute little birds quickness to fly  just yet as we are in the winter season where I live. I  will update this section further when more information presents itself.
